Victoria Chernushkina
My name is Victoria. I started working for EPS in 2007.
I studied psychology in the University of the Russian Academy of Education.
I also studied French law at College Universitaire Francais and got a Master’s degree from Sorbonne and Université d’Aix en Provence. Therefore, I speak French. I also got a Master’s degree in yearly childhood education from Manchester University. I like learning languages so after French I was learning Spanish, then Greek. That of course helps me in my multicultural interactions. My other interests lie in classic Arts. I love classic music and always try to make children listen to lots of it during the day. I also like classic ballet. Hence, in wintertime be sure we will watch bits of Mariinsky Theater performing the Nutcracker. I also like Aram Khachaturyan so we might as well watch bits of Spartak. Well and other beautiful ballets Along with classic music, I love classic art. Children are very easily involved in art discussions, about not only famous artists, but also shapes, colours, techniques and impressions it leaves in us. I strongly believe it is our duty to give children the access to the world of art. Besides, we pay attention to the inside world of each child. We discuss difficult moments and conflicts, trying to explain what we feel and what others feel, finding the best solution and sharing emotions. Also expressing ourselves, being able to raise your hand and say what you think/feel is very important in my opinion.
