In chess club, we start with the basics, such as learning the names of the pieces and how they move.
After mastering this, children begin to play with each other using pawns alone. Gradually, we introduce an increasing number of pieces into the game until we reach a full-fledged chess game! Children get acquainted with the strategies of setting the mat and protecting the queen. They learn to plan and calculate moves ahead. At the end of the year, many children will be able to independently conduct a chess game!
